- Cold water
Instructions:
Fill the bottom chamber of the Moka Pot with cold water up to the safety valve
Add finely ground espresso coffee into the filter basket, leveling it off without pressing down too hard
Assemble the Moka Pot, ensuring a tight fit between the top and bottom chambers
Place the Moka Pot on a stovetop burner set to medium heat
Wait patiently as the coffee slowly percolates into the top chamber
This should take about 5-7 minutes
Keep an eye on the process, and as soon as you hear a gurgling sound, remove it from the heat source
This indicates that the brewing process is complete
