Ingredients:
- 1 lb cheese tortellini
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish optional
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the tortellini
Remove the water and set it aside
In a big pan, cook the bacon until it gets crispy
Take the bacon out of the pan and put it on paper towels to drain
Using the bacon fat from the same pan, saut the Brussels sprouts for about 5 to 7 minutes, until they are soft and slightly caramelized
After you add the minced garlic, cook for one more minute
Turn down the heat to medium-low
Add grated Parmesan cheese and heavy cream, and stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth
Throw in the cooked tortellini and crispy bacon and mix everything together in the pan until it's all covered in the creamy sauce
Add pepper and salt to taste
Add fresh parsley as a garnish if you like
Enjoy while hot!
