Ingredients:
- 8 oz 225g of bacon, diced
- 8 oz 225g of dried noodles such as spaghetti or udon
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente
Drain and set aside
In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy
Remove bacon from the skillet and place it on paper towels to drain excess grease
Reserve a tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet
In the same skillet with the reserved bacon grease, add minced garlic and saut for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
Return the crispy bacon to the skillet with the garlic
Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss with sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, and sesame seeds
Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring the noodles are well coated and heated through
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Garnish with thinly sliced green onions and serve hot
