Oat-Free Vegan Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies



These oat-free vegan classic chocolate chip cookies are perfect for those with oat allergies or those who prefer oat-free treats. They are soft, chewy, and loaded with gooey chocolate chips, making them an irresistible dessert for vegans and non-vegans alike.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350F 175C

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt

In another bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, brown sugar, granulated sugar, applesauce, and vanilla extract until well combined

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until a dough forms

Fold in the vegan chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
